Mango Pachadi

Who loves mangoes..????





The needed ingredients are,
Raw mango one, Jaggery powder half cup, sambar powder 1 teaspoon, salt (as you need), Turmeric powder a pinch, oil one teaspoon, mustard one teaspoon, Asafoetida powder (In Tamil Perungaayam) and a few curry leaves. 







First remove the skin of the mango, slice them and add them in a big pan. Add turmeric powder, sambar powder and a pinch of salt. Add a little amount of water that it should cover the mango slices. Cook it in a medium flame which will help the slices to get more softer. 



Now mash the cooked mango slices and add jaggery powder as per your taste preference. The jaggery should melt and blend well with the mango slices. 

            In an another pan add some oil and mustard seed. After the mustard seeds pop up add asafoetida powder, curry leaves and pour it over the mango. If you need some spicy pachadi use chilli powder instead of jaggery powder. And at the end add some red chillies to the mango. 





Serve it hot…!!!
